NCL Repair and Service Department

The NCL Repair Center warrants its repairs, parts and labor, for 90 days from shipment date.The warranty is void if tampering or accidental damage occurs.There is no implied warranty for components NOT replaced or repaired.

Barnstead and Thermolyne

NCL is a Factory-Authorized repair facility for ALL Barnstead and Thermolyne products. We carry a LARGE stock of repair parts for the items which we normally sell (items in our current catalog).

Barnstead/Thermolyne however, has thousands of products, and several modifications on many models. Although we have a large stock of repair parts, we can not possibly stock every part for every model of every item that is out there.

We also repair Mega-Pure stills (formerly manufactured by Corning), now owned by Barnstead/Thermolyne.

However, we have an excellent working relationship with Barnstead/Thermolyne, and we can usually get repair parts in 1-2 days.

Corning

We repair Corning 200 series pH/ISE meters, specifically models 240, 245, 250, and 255. We probably have repaired more of these than anyone else with the exception of the manufacturer. Our charges are usually less than $100.00 and turn-around time is 1-2 days.

We also repair Mega-Pure stills (formerly manufactured by Corning), now owned by Barnstead/Thermolyne.

Ohaus

NCL is a factory-authorized repair facility for Ohaus balances.

YSI

NCL is one of a very few Factory-Authorized repair centers for YSI “water quality” equipment (D.O. meters and probes). We carry a large stock of replacement parts. Normal turn-around time for NCL repairs of YSI D.O. equipment is 3 days. Compare this to other facilities which take 6-8 weeks!

We use the same test equipment and the same test procedures as the factory (YSI) to diagnose and correct your problems.

Other Repair Services

We also repair Napco autoclaves, models 9000D, and 8000DSE.

We offer on-site Balance Certification and Fume-Hood Certification with standards traceable to NIST. This service is available throughout Wisconsin and the U.P.

Our charges are $75.00 per balance and $100.00 per fume hood. Discounts are available for multiple certifications at the same site on the same day. Please try to give us 2 months notice for your initial calibration from us. After that we will put you on our regular schedule, and you can forget about it-we'll take care of it for you automatically.
