NCL Repair and Service DepartmentFactory-Authorizedrepair center for many types of Wastewater lab equipment. We offer in-house repair for customers throughout the United States. We offer on-site repair throughout most of Wisconsin and the UP. We perform both in-warranty and non-warranty repairs.
For in-warranty repairs on items purchased from NCL: You get TOP priority! These are usually tested within One Day of receipt. We have a LARGE stock of repair parts for the items we sell. Average turn-around time for items requiring repairs in 3 DAYS. Compare this with 6-8 WEEKS from other repair facilities, including the manufacturers. FOR ANY REPAIR, ALWAYS CALL FIRST!! Our factory-trained technicians can often help you pinpoint the problem over the telephone, this saving you down-time and money. Often, the problem can be solved by replacing a probe or a system component which you can purchase and install yourself. This service is FREE, but we expect you will purchase the parts from NCL. For non-warranty repairs, we have low standard diagnostic charges for most equipment. Our technicians will inform you of these charges and you can decide whether to repair or replace the equipment before you stick any money into it. For in-warranty repairs on items not purchased from NCL:Yes, in most cases, we will repair the items, even if you purchased them elsewhere. Please include a copy of your invoice for the product, along with a specific description of the problem. For on-site repairs:For large items, such as stills, hard-plumbed DI systems, large ovens, etc., it may not be practical for you to ship them to us. Our on-site repair area includes most of Wisconsin and the U.P. Please call 800-648-7836 to arrange for an on-site repair But remember, it is ALWAYS cheaper for you to ship the item to us than to have it repaired on site. For in-house repairs, you are only charged for the actual repair time. For on-site repairs, you are charged from when the technician departs our plant to when he returns. Often, two trips are necessary to accomplish the repair--one to diagnose the problem, and a second to perform the repair. Although we have a large stock of repair parts, we can not possibly stock every part for every model of every item that is out there. So, if at all possible, it is cheaper for you, and less time-consuming for us, to do repairs at our facility. Note:Manufacturers' warranties may be voided by unauthorized tampering with the equipment. Each year, we get a few items in for repair which were previously “fixed” by some self-appointed expert, and it's not a pretty sight.
